Maya's 2010 chestnut filly by Hide A Pepto!
"Maya" is one that we raised from the ground up. She is the last foal by our first broodmare. Sire: Sans Peppy Lena is an NCHA earning son of cutting legend/producer Doc O Lena. Her dam: Niner Lady never made it to the show pen, but was used on the ranch. Maya is a nice double bred Doc O Lena mare that gets prettier every year. Maya was started under saddle as a 2 year old, and was the trainers favorite. She WANTED to stop, WANTED to spin, WANTED to watch a cow, and had so much desire to learn. She was one of the most graceful moving horses we've ever seen, 100% natural and everything came easy. Everyone was so excited to see her go on to the show pen as a 3 year old. Unfortunately in her late 2 year old year, Maya was left broodmare sound only.
