"Kaiser" is now in cutting training with Dean Smith of Council Grove, KS, the trainer of SMART MATE.

"Kaiser" is a future stallion here at Blount Quarter Horses. His pedigree speaks for itself. The list goes on and on of money earners and world champions. His sire, Cats Headliner has NCHA earnings totalling $71,729 and is also an AQHA point earner. A son of the immortal High Brow Cat out of a daughter of Doc O Lena. His dam, Juana Peppy Doc is a 1/2 sister to "Little Peppy" by the great Mr San Peppy out of an own daughter of Dry Doc. She carries the King Ranch brand.

Two trainers have described Kaiser as "one of the best 3 year olds we've ever seen." He's been a favorite of everyone who's thrown a leg over him. This young stallion is jam packed with natural cow sense and has the drive to "eat up" a cow! Kaiser has the build and the mind to make it to the top and the pedigree to back him every step of the way.

Kaiser has been in professional cutting/working cow horse training since February 2009. He has been taken slow to prevent injury and keep his mind sound. Both trainers he's worked under said that he learns ridiculously fast. He entered his first show in Working Cow Horse earlier this year and scored a 120 (the horse that won it scored a 132.5) against horses that had 1-2 years professional training. We're focusing him on cutting for now and hopefully by next spring, he'll be entering more shows.
