"Vortex" was purchased in 2008 from the late Jim Cowden of Emporia, KS. He's a horse that will definitely turn heads wherever he goes. He's got a lot of personality and loves his job. He's a big gelding that's packing a ton of power! Vortex may still be green, but he's a horse that even a beginning barrel racer could jump on and win money. He's the easiest barrel horse I've ever ridden, pretty much just show him the gate and kick. He knows the pattern and will go as slow or as fast as his rider wants. I'd describe him as a 4 wheel drive horse; it's easy to stay balanced and keep up with him.
