"Butterfly" is a cute little red dun filly we recently purchased from the Finnerty Ranch at the Cooper Production Sale in Emporia, KS.
"Butterfly's" sire, Grays Smart Pistol is by the fantastic cutting sire, Smart Little Pistol aka "Purple". "Purple" has NCHA earnings of $8,920.0 with offspring earnings of over $1.8 million! He is also the only living sire of an NCHA Triple Crown Champion! Smart Little Pistol is by Smart Little Lena (NCHA earnings $743,275) and by Miss Silver Pistol (NCHA earnings $512,754.85). Grays Smart Pistol is by a daughter of Night Caller, an NCHA earning son of Gay Bar King. On the bottom, she's out of an own daughter of Holidoc (LTE $120,054) who has offspring earnings in excess of $922,676. Holidoc is by Doc Quixote, a NCHA Hall of Fame Sire and by NCHA earning/producing dam, Lee's Holly.. Also on the bottom is One War (NCHA earnings $7,764) who is by War Leo. I'll do the math for you, there is over $1.37 MILLION dollars in earnings on the face of this filly's papers!
